Young Entrepreneurs Club
Turn big ideas into a real business experience!
In this four-week specialty club, young entrepreneurs will create a product, build their own brand, learn how pricing and profit work, design packaging, and prepare their merchandise for a real retail display at Hands-On Teaching.
After the four-week club ends, each participant will receive space in our Young Entrepreneurs Marketplace for one month, giving them the exciting opportunity to offer their products for sale to actual customers in our store.
During the club, participants will:
- Develop and create a product
- Choose a business and brand name
- Design a logo and product packaging
- Learn about supply costs, pricing, revenue, and profit
- Write product descriptions and create marketing materials
- Prepare merchandise for an in-store display
- Practice communication, creativity, problem-solving, and decision-making
Club Details
Ages: 8–13
Schedule: Fridays from 3:30–5:30 PM
Length: Four weekly two-hour sessions
Bonus: One month of space in the Hands-On Teaching Young Entrepreneurs Marketplace
This is more than a craft class. It is a hands-on introduction to entrepreneurship that gives kids the opportunity to see what it takes to bring an idea from concept to customer.
Space is limited to keep the group small and allow each young entrepreneur to receive individual guidance.
All products must be approved by Hands-On Teaching before being displayed in the store. Participation in the marketplace provides a real-world sales opportunity, but product sales are not guaranteed.
